Clowbridge goes Ballistic - 25 May 2008

Story and Photos by Chris Pitt

Sunday 25th May 2008 was probably the windiest day of a very windy bank holiday weekend, with gusts of over 50mph recorded (up to severe gale force 9). After struggling on an unfamiliar board and feeling like I was more likely going to end up hang-gliding with my 4.6 I thought I’d take the opportunity to get some photos.

With everyone rigging their smallest sails (anything from 3.5 to 4.7m) and sailing their smallest boards (anything from a 74l waveboard up to Karl on his Starboard Go) it was certainly a day of extremes.
